Let's be clear about who all is responsible here
Gov. Cox, Speaker Schultz, and President Adams passed MIDA in 2017, giving the state power to override local zoning. Their appointed board greenlit Kevin O'Leary's project with no local input, no local vote. The County Commission had a voice and chose silence.
The self-proclaimed party of small government just used state power to pick a market winner, one that increases pollution, strains local resources, drives up energy costs, and ignores the people who actually live there. That's not conservative governance. That's cronyism. Everyone who enabled it owns it.
This starts at the top. Vote every last one of them out.
This may hurt in the short term, but these are small sacrifices to make in order to make the labor market, entertainment, and countless other things far worse for the benefit of about 800 of the most misanthropic and insecure people to ever live
