What the BBC did. They played clips of Trump out of chronological order. He complained. They apologised. That should have been it. But he sued them for $10 billion.
So the BBC is going to fully litigate all of Trump's actions surrounding the attack on the Capitol.
Excellent.
Dear @FIFAWorldCup,
On behalf of the entire world, please do not allow Donald Trump the prestigious honor of presenting The Championship Trophy on July 19th.
The honors should go to our gracious co-hosts, President Claudia Pardo or Mexico and Canadian PM Mark Carney.
Trump is a global joke who will leave a toxic, wretched stain on the ceremony, and can't be trusted to not steal the trophy.
The world deserves better.
The players deserve better.
You deserve better.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Everyone’s asking: can FSTL fix the reflecting pool?
We put our best people on it and have come up with a 3 point plan.
1. Drain the pool of algae and peeling paint.
2. RFK Jr. will eat the algae and peeled paint.
3. Remove Trump from office.
So, you VETOED feeding hungry kids over the summer because you didn’t want people to feel loyalty to their community public schools while you are working so hard to destroy them.
But you can pull this stunt for free tacos at the Dem’s convention cause you’re scared of Talarico?
Teddy Roosevelt, 26th President: "To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
(In other words--Trump is a wanna be dictator)
BBC isn’t backing down.
Trump sued them for $10 billion, which means discovery cuts both ways. Now the BBC wants his phone logs, private schedules, daily diaries, and communications from November 2020 through January 20, 2021.
They aren’t just defending the case. They’re asking a simple question: did their documentary damage Trump’s reputation, or did January 6 do that all by itself?
Lawsuits open doors, and discovery is fair game 💥
