@corsaren Alienation from progressive politics failed all three conditions spectacularly; You couldn't avoid being exposed to it, the price of admission was you accepting deeply negative self-assessments and it was anything but sympathetic.
@corsaren There were 3 key conditions:
1) The resistance was actually rooted in ignorance.
2) There were low personal stakes to changing.
3) There were clear, sympathetic lived experiences that could be communicated and identified with.
@loganb It made perfect sense: it's like if store n has or is on track to have positive cashflow โ they open store n+1 (with those profits + loans), which has or is on track to have positive cashflow...
They didn't care about quarterly earnings & were hated for it.
