โYouโre carrying our votes, and you are receiving calls. Drop that phone immediately.โ
โ Watch as residents of Ward Okerewe 3, Ife East LGA, Osun State, followed their votes to the collation centre on motorcycles yesterday after noticing that the driver was receiving several phone calls.
I told opposition to watch like hawk as Davido slug it out with Tinubu and take lessons on his strategy.
First have in mind that Nigerians are sick and tired of Tinubu, but they are demoralised, and to some extent scared to come out and him vote out.
Here are David's strategies:
1. Davido massively boosted the morale of Osun people. He gingered them and put them on a beast mode. When he mounted the that campaign podium, he roared like a lion and instilled confidence and ginger on the people and told them to come out and vote and stay back to defend the vote.
2. Davido went all out on APC online influencers and propagandists. He took Bashir Ahmad to the cleaners. He controlled the online narrative and ensured Imole's supporters didn't get psychologically defeated.
Yes, election is won on Twitter. Control the narrative here, and you do wonders offline.
3. Davido pulled some external card by tweeting Donald Trump. Some of you might laugh at it, but that move shined an international torchlight on the Osun election.. which goes a long way to attenuate any devious plans APC have under their sleeve. This is a big lesson for the opposition, you must have an external card to play.
To opposition:
Ginger the people to come out and vote. Put more energy in your message. Boost voters morale. Nigerians just need more energy driven messages and they will turn out.
Massive voter turnout brakes any rigging machine all over the world.
Rigging thrives in voter apathy.
Finally, don't listen to people like @adeyanjudeji that would tell you that Tinubu is unbeatable. No man born of woman is unbeatable. All they do is get you psychologically defeated, so you give up without a fight.
I just saw a video where a woman was beaten for "stealing people's penis"
It then occured to me that I used to believe in that fakery. How does one magically steal penis?
The olodos are fighting back.
Remind them that this bastard lined up MSc graduates for a humiliation ritual, for a nonexistent job.
His sole intention was to portray education as a venture for the foolish - that him in all of his foolishness can buy them out.
@table_shaker_ Apt!! Young man wore something he was comfortable in, youโre bothered about if itโs original or not. Your advise is definitely useless.

If today yahoo yahoo money stop coming into this country many businesses will collapse.
The hospitality industry is driving by these yahoo yahoo people. Not many legitimate workers will go lodge in an hotel for one week.
No salary earner in Nigeria can sit down in a bar and spend 1 million naira even if he or she earns 10 million naira a month which is very rare.
Many of the luxury accommodations will be vacant. No salary earner will pay for 20 million naira 4 bed a year. The once who can afford it legitimately already have a house of theirs.
Truly, Nigeria is very poor and just hanging on a time bomb.
@fourtune__ Kinda subscribe to this.. traditions came up because of the kind of life we lived before modernization, weโre definitely not going back to that kind of life, so why maintain traditions that guided that kinda life.
Honest question, I support avoiding the whole traditional rites that come with doing anything (marriage, burials etc), but as a people that value culture and tradition, where do we draw the line between avoiding stress and keeping the tradition alive?
every now and then I think about my Aunt's daughter who lives in the US and had to come to Nigeria when her mum died, and when the extended family tried to put her through burial stress, she quietly buried her mum at Abuja cemetery and called it a day before anybody even knew
@Osamudia_Osas I donโt want to be the one to answer the question, but plenty reasons. Itโs your identity, by your name, I need not think too much to know your origin.
Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters were reportedly seen moving in armored vehicles through military checkpoints, while soldiers looked on without intervening.
What will you call this?
