In our renewed effort to bolster job creation for the teeming youth across Kano State, I distributed empowerment packages to 1,130 graduates of six entrepreneurship skills institutes.

Addressing the event, I stated the empowerment initiative is about rekindling hope, restoring dreams, and unlocking the enormous potential of youth to become self-reliant, productive, and innovative contributors to the state’s economy.

That is why each graduate left the venue not only with a certificate, but also with an empowerment package relevant to their field.

Empowerment breakdown is as follows:

• 250 graduates of the Informatics Institute, Kura, received laptop computers and phone repair kits.

• 140 graduates of the Livestock Institute, Bagauda, received bulls, feed, and veterinary medication.

• 250 graduates of the Driving Institute, Kumbotso, received driving licences and certificates.

• 200 graduates of the Horticulture Institute, Bagauda, received modern gardening tools.

• 200 graduates of the Fisheries Institute, Bagauda, received fingerlings, weighing scales, and tarpaulin ponds.

• 90 graduates of the Film Institute, Tiga, received digital cameras. - AKY
