Would you call your kids “chubby” in jest? Even have nicknames “Chub” etc? I personally never make reference to things like “eat so you can be tall / big” or “hey chubby” or “chubster” I hate using the words “fat” and “skinny” when talking to kids. It’s just so damaging.
