Back in my day we had to keep our blazers on unless the teachers gave us permission to take them off. And if we were in a French lesson our teacher made us ask in French.
This lying donkey, @mohammed_hijab claims takfir of the Rafidah is a "radical" view invented by Ibn Abd al-Wahhab, and that even Ibn Taymiyya rejected it.
This is historically backwards. The ruling predates Ibn Abd al-Wahhab by a thousand years:
• Imam Ahmad (d.241): "I do not consider him to be upon Islam" said of one who curses a Sahabi. He said the Rafidah "have nothing to do with Islam." [al-Sunnah, al-Khallal]
• Imam al-Bukhari (d.256): It makes no difference whether he prays behind a Rafidi or a Jew/Christian. [Khalq Afal al-Ibad]
• al-Firyabi (d.212): one who curses Abu Bakr "is a kafir."
• Abu Zur'ah & Abu Hatim al-Razi: the Rafidah "rejected Islam." [via al-Lalika'i]
• Ibn Hazm (d.456): "The Rafidah are not from the Muslims." [al-Fisal]
And Ibn Taymiyya, whom Hijab claims rejected it wrote Minhaj al-Sunnah, the largest refutation of them in history, and ruled in al-Sarim al-Maslul that whoever claims the Qur'an was altered, or that the Sahaba apostatized, his takfir is beyond dispute.
So Ibn Abd al-Wahhab invented nothing. He transmitted a ruling already 1,000 years old
Isn’t it strange that Iran hasn’t targeted oil facilities in Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan? If Iran really wants to hurt Israel, it knows that 70% of Israel’s oil supply comes from those countries.
Disrupting that flow will seriously damage Israel’s economy. So why hasn’t it gone after those routes? It does make you stop and rethink what’s really going on in this conflict.
If israel is the true enemy, then cutting off its oil supply would shut it down, and ultimately defeat it. This is a simply strategic move. But they’re not doing that, which should make you wonder what’s iran’s true position and intent.
They can just attack the shipments, and disturb the supply routes, they don’t need to attack the country, or they can target oil fields there, just as they’re targeting oil fields in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The term “Wahhabi” stands as one of the most successful and enduring examples of socio-political engineering in modern history. Originally popularized by the Ottoman Empire, the British Raj, and various colonial administrations, the label was used to marginalize those calling for Muslim unity through a strict adherence to monotheism.
In reality, the followers of the scholar Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab never referred to themselves as “Wahhabis.” They preferred the term al-Muwahhidun the Monotheists.
The actual teachings of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab were simple and direct: a "back-to-basics" daʿwah centered on tawḥīd (the oneness of God). His writings on ʿaqīdah consist almost entirely of Qur’anic verses and the authentic Sunnah; they are open for anyone to read and verify.
Ultimately, the message he championed is so fundamental to the faith that to oppose its core pure monotheism is to oppose the very essence of Islam.
12ver Iranian regime cannot possibly fight in the way of Allah.
The most fundamental condition for that is eman.
Those who curse Abu Bakr, Omar, Usman and Aysha (RA) can NEVER have eman.
This is why Allah said only people of eman can fight in his way, not disbelievers.
The Sunnah is one 'umrah per trip.
The Prophet (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) made umrah multiple times and had more ambition & hope for its reward than any of us, and he never did a second umrah on one trip. And the trip was much more difficult in his time, too. So there would have been even more motive to take advantage of being there with multiple umrahs on one trip. Yet, he did not.
In efforts to help alleviate unnecessary traffic & congestion in the city of Makkah, the government has recently asked people to cease making multiple 'umrahs on one trip, asking them to focus instead on the regular prayers in the masjids of Makkah instead, as they are valued at 100,000 prayers elsewhere.
Taawoos, the student of Ibn 'Abbaas, said:
الذين يعتمرون من التنعيم ما أدري أيؤجرون أو يعذبون
"Those making 'umrah from Tan'eem (repeating 'umrah while in Makkah), I don't know if they would be getting any reward or are they just being punished!"
"Being punished" means in this context: exhausting themselves without benefit.
And Allah knows best.
May Allah protect the Muslims as they fulfill the beautiful rites of 'Umrah in these turbulent times.
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“The one whose soul craves disobedience but he leaves it for Allāh, those are the ones who Allāh tested their hearts with piety and for them is forgiveness and a tremendous reward."
[al-Fawā’id | 125]
O Allah, grant honor and strength to Islam and the Muslims; abase polytheism and the polytheists; destroy Your enemies, the enemies of the religion , grant us security in our homelands and set right our leaders and those entrusted with our affairs.
Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) passed by a garbage dump and stood there for a while. When his friends around him felt disturbed by the smell of the garbage, he said:
This is the world that you are so eager for and over which you weep
Sh Bin Baz was once asked
"How is it possible for a really pious person to flip & apostate?"
The Shaykh replied "this could be due to one of 2 reasons:
1. Either he never thanked Allah for the guidance
2. Or he made fun of someone who was lost & Allāh punished him
When Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn Wept Before His Student
Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn رحمه الله was once delivering a lesson when he noticed someone whose mind seemed distracted.
He said to him, “Repeat what I just said.”
The man replied, “I don’t know.”
One of the scariest punishments in Islam is not the fire, but when Allah stops guiding you. When you are left alone with your own ego and desires, thinking you know better, thinking you are fine. No reminders move your heart anymore. No advice reaches you.
