A bunch of times I have been asked why @arudemgaming isn’t more heavily involved in the esports space in Uganda (local tournaments and all). The reality is that esports, shouldn’t be the primary focus of a gaming business IMO.

Instead, it should be used as a strategic marketing tool to promote and enhance the various products a company develops. This is a perspective I picked up years ago when getting into the industry, from thought leaders like Davin Nash.

We have been building towards an esports effort, though our approach is slightly unconventional. We’re looking at esports differently, I have great respect for it and its current state, but personally speaking, I don't see a model at play.
The team (ARUDEM) is strategically focusing on building an ecosystem around our own intellectual property (IP) and then building a robust esports program around that. For me, this is the key limiting factor when it comes to profitability/ sustainability and scalability in esports from a global perspective, you will always dance to the tune of the publisher and have zero creative control, "where is the fun in that" unless things change probably with the decentralized concepts in web3, but even that's still a work in progress.

Stakeholders have got to approach esports with a comprehensive strategy to ensure long-term sustainability as the industry is massively still at its infant stage. We're nowhere near the peak and potential of what the gaming industry can and will become.

A bit of a hot take, but i believe it’s a conversation that needs to happen more often. Earlier this year, I revisited all episodes of The Business of Esports podcast, by Paul "The Profit" Dawalibi and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to gain deeper insights into the industry's future.

Yes—pornography is a psychological, spiritual weapon meant to deprave the tastes of men and women.
Every year the porn offered becomes more depraved. They introduce young-looking boys and girls, trannies, etc while simultaneously teaching kids in government run schools that it’s “healthy” to watch porn.
Communist satanists run the western world. The Bolsheviks were never tried because they emigrated West. They brought feminism, pornography, propaganda, and demented psychology as tools to crush the nations which opened their doors to them. Learn real history. They are targeting our children, men, and ultimately families via psychological violence.
