Patriarchy cages emotions
men are told “be strong, be a man,”
women are told “stay quiet, know your place.”
It forces souls into gendered boxes, teaching us to hide who we are.
That’s why feminism matters
to break stereotypes and let everyone exist with freedom and dignity.
Not every childhood is filled with laughter,
Some stories begin with storms instead of sunshine.
Hands that should never have crossed a child's boundaries,
A fragile smile hiding silent tears.
A child grew older than her years.

Without you, even the universe feels incomplete
A symphony with no sound,
A sky without stars.
In every tremor of the earth,
In every drop of rain that falls,
I feel the tremble of your touch,
A presence not bound by time,
But by something far more eternal.

God has given two ears
Not to listen rubbish
Not to listen negative
Not to fill the head
With garbage,
With unwanted sounds and thoughts.
God has given two ears
To listen good,
To feel good
To make others feel good.
