@Twalakwin@PhilMphela@Leon_Schreib Nah Moyo is a South African surname. There's a long history of Ndebele people that migrated to Zim. Same as Ndlovu, Nkosi, etc.
@StrydomJoost The president did say that South Africa needs to focus on previously disadvantaged people and in order:
1. Women (All races)
2. Disabled people
3. Black people (Indians, Colourds and Africans)
4. White men. (They've had their fair share more than anyone in this country)
@StrydomJoost Demographics can also be related to gender, age and number of people in a certain area irrespective of race. In South Africa women take first preference and when I say women I mean from all races even with government tenders they'll be considered first. They've been disadvantaged
Brett, this isn’t a game of semantics—it’s real life for millions of South Africans. You can try to downplay it all you want, but the atrocities are undeniable:
•Farm murders – Families tortured and executed in their homes, yet people like you pretend it’s just “crime like any other.”
•Gender-based violence & femicide – South Africa has one of the highest rates of rape and murder of women in the world. Every day, women are brutalized and killed. That’s an atrocity.
•Violent crime everywhere – 80+ murders a day. People are hijacked, kidnapped, and gunned down daily. Living in fear isn’t normal, but here we are.
•The ANC’s destruction of the country – Load shedding, crumbling infrastructure, mass unemployment, corruption bleeding the country dry. That’s an atrocity.
•Xenophobic attacks – Foreign nationals burned alive in the streets. That’s an atrocity.
So let’s be clear—this isn’t about “challenging fake news.” It’s about you trying to control the narrative while ignoring the brutal reality of the country you claim to care about. If you don’t see the problem, you’re either blind or complicit.
