You can agree or disagree as much as you want with @GadSaad, but you cannot simply ignore the warnings he has been making for decades about what he calls “suicidal empathy.”
Look at what is happening in France today. At some point, societies have to be willing to discuss difficult realities honestly, without fear, denial, or political correctness.
Ignoring warnings doesn’t make the underlying problems disappear.
To all those chanting “Free Palestine,” to those who celebrate violence, and to those inside these countries who support or enable it:
Remember this: the countries you are attacking opened their doors to you. They offered shelter, food, clean water, medicine, education, jobs, citizenship, safety, and freedoms that many people around the world can only dream of.
And this is how you repay that generosity?
You have every right to protest and express your views peacefully. You do not have the right to intimidate innocent people, attack police and firefighters, destroy communities, or impose your ideology through violence.
Shame on those who abuse the freedoms they were given, and shame on authorities when they fail to protect innocent citizens and enforce the law.
Freedom is not a one-way street. If you choose to live in a free society, respect its laws, its people, and the freedoms that made your life there possible. Deport.
In the UAE, antisemitism is a crime, not an opinion. Yes, not an opinion, as it seems to be treated these days in parts of the West. Zero tolerance for terrorists, and no calling terrorists "activists." If anyone has a problem with Muslims or Arabs, understand this clearly: THE UAE is DIFFERENT. And before lecturing the UAE about extremism, ask one question: has your own country even banned the Muslim Brotherhood? The UAE has.
To everyone questioning what happened on flydubai flight FZ1073 or rushing to conclusions: the UAE is not just another country in the Middle East. Here, no identity, nationality, religion, rank, or position stands above the law.
It’s well known that the UAE will not replace an investigation with speculation or evidence with conspiracy theories. The facts will come out through the proper investigation, transparently and without hysteria. And if any wrongdoing is established, those responsible will face justice.
The UAE has confronted terrorism and extremism for years, from ISIS and al-Qaeda to threats from Iran and its proxies. It is also one of the safest places in the world and the safest in the Middle East. The threats are understood. The dangers are understood. Security is built through vigilance, professionalism, preparation, and the rule of law.
And that is why the heroism of flydubai’s Indian pilot, Captain Smit Machchhar, has been recognised.
The flydubai pilot faced extraordinary danger and a potential catastrophe, and he showed courage when courage mattered most. His professionalism, sense of duty, and moral courage helped protect human life.
Training matters. Professionalism matters. Choosing the right people matters. Courage matters.
Every person found responsible for endangering innocent lives must be held accountable. Every person who helped save those lives deserves gratitude.
No collective blame.
No conspiracy theories.
No hatred against Arabs or Muslims.
No excuses for extremism.
Justice for those responsible. Honour for those who saved lives. Protection for everyone, regardless of who they are.
That is the UAE.
The UAE of law. The UAE of courage. The UAE of humanity.
And to all the antisemitic trolls: UAE-Israel relations continue to thrive, and on rainy days, friends stand together.
Look at what is happening in beautiful France right now. 🇫🇷
Now you understand why President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu take such a tough approach when it comes to protecting their countries. They understand what can happen when governments fail to confront violence, extremism, and those who believe they can impose their will through intimidation.
France has given people the opportunity to live in a free and democratic society, yet we are now seeing violence, clashes with police, arson, and serious disruption in communities across the country.
Freedom comes with responsibility. You cannot demand the freedoms of a democratic society while using violence to destroy the very society that provides those freedoms.
A government’s first responsibility is to protect its innocent citizens, uphold the rule of law, and make clear that no group—regardless of its ideology—is above the law.
This is exactly why strong leadership and the courage to enforce the law matter.
The propaganda “documentary” NAZA had its U.S. premiere at the New York Film Festival in Lincoln Center, Manhattan yesterday.
The premiere came just before the 3rd anniversary of the October 7th Massacre.
The director Yuval Abraham presented himself on stage as an investigative journalist.
However, the film doesn’t meet journalistic standards.
The subtitles have been translated from Hebrew to English in such a way that makes the statements by Israeli soldiers much harsher than they actually are.
It also lacks context, practically ignoring to inform the audience of what happened on October 7th and how professional militaries across the world deal with target assessments in accordance with the laws of war.
The film, from the outset, provides a narrative negating Israel’s right to existence and that of the IDF itself.
It spends a lot of effort on demonizing the city of Tel Aviv and tries to connect the founding of Tel Aviv and with the an imagined current “genocide” in Gaza.
As at other film festivals, the film received a standing ovation by the far-left American cultural establishment which has spent the past 3 years obsessing about Gaza after spending the previous 7 years obsessing about Black Lives Matter (ever since the 2016 “Oscars So White” campaign which forced the host Chris Rock to close the Oscars by stating “Black Lives Matter” and which introduced the change from 2024 that a movie production has the embrace affirmative action in its hiring process for the movie to be eligible for an Oscars nominations
It’s in this politically correct environment that films such as NAZA can receive standing ovations and award after award at movie festivals.
The self-hating cultural establishment maintains hegemonic control in the world of art and nothing indicates that there has been an improvement in this sphere since that infamous Oscars ceremony in 2016z
His eyes have seen unspeakable bloodshed. His feet have grown weary from funeral after funeral — burying his own church members slaughtered by Fulani jihadists seizing ancestral lands and imposing mini-caliphates in villages south of Jos.
But Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo will not break. In the heart of Plateau State, central Nigeria, he stays to encourage the living and keep the faith alive.
Kongo-Krieg,
🇸🇾 ~500.000 Tote und ~12 Mio. Flüchtlinge im Syrienkrieg,
🇪🇹 ~600.000 massakrierte und verhungerte Menschen in Äthiopien,
🇾🇪 ~377.000 Tote im Jemen,
🇸🇩 ~150.000 Tote im Sudan und über 12 Mio. Vertriebene,
🇸🇴 ~260.000 Hungertote in Somalia,
