As a Northerner and a Muslim, if you like, vote for Peter Obi, the amount of hate that will be directed at the North and Muslims will be nothing compared to what we are seeing today
Banditry will not stop and if you complain, his supporters will tell you it’s family business.

A powerful storm can uproot the tallest and strongest trees, but can’t uproot grass. Don’t underestimate the little people in your life. That you are rich and successful does not make you better than your gateman or cleaner. They can withstand storms you can’t!
But that does not mean you should allow overfamiliarity. Rain is a useful blessing. But still, when you walk in the rain, you use an umbrella. Learn from that. No matter how loving, useful and close your relationship is with anyone, you need a layer of protection between you and them otherwise overfamiliarity will beat you silly!

The primary downward pressure on the Naira comes from fuel importation. We spend $18 billion on foreign fuel. The depletion of our foreign reserve and the imbalance it causes to our balance of trade is why the Naira was losing value. But with the Dangote Refinery and the Port Harcourt Refinery about to come on stream next month, fuel importation will reduce drastically and may even stop.
When that happens, Nigeria will have a decent balance of trade surplus. The resultant effect will cause at least two things to occur. The Naira will rise in value over the dollar, and we may see a rate of ₦950 to $1. The second thing that will happen is a slight reduction in the price of fuel. PMS will likely sell below ₦600 per litre.
So, anybody betting against the Naira based on Arise TV's ₦2000 to $1 evil prophecy is labouring under a delusion. This is an opposition leaning news station that has allowed their support for Peter Obi and dislike for Bola Tinubu to blind them. That is their problem. If you listen to them and invest in dollars thinking it will rise soon, it will also become your problem.
