Three years ago TODAY the most significant thing for FREE SPEECH happened in the history of our country.
Elon Musk bought Twitter for 44,000,000,000,000.
He didn't do it for money or fame.
He already had those.
He did it to save our country.
Elon Musk is a patriot.
I’m tired of watching the President get shot in the head.
I’m tired of watching Christian children get killed at church.
I’m tired of watching federal law enforcement get attacked and terrorized.
I’m tired of watching my friends die.
I’m tired of my family being threatened.
The Democrat Party has surrendered its soul.
When you remove God from your politics and your life, evil fills the void. That is exactly what has happened.
Virginia Democrats nominated a man who fantasized about killing Republican parents and their children to be the state’s top law enforcement officer. And they see nothing wrong with it.
This is what happens when a party abandons faith and morality. They lose their values, decency, and humanity.
It is the same Godless hatred that threatened my family, murdered Charlie, attacked churches and ICE agents, and tried to assassinate President Trump.
Now it is not hiding. It is running for office.
America is in a spiritual war. The only way forward is to return to God, to truth, and to courage. Light always defeats darkness.
…there is no linear blueprint for grief. One day you’re collapsed on the floor crying out the name Jesus in between labored breaths. The next you’re playing with your children in the living room, surrounded by family photos, and feeling a rush of something you can only attempt to define as divinely planted and bittersweet joy as a smile breaks through on your face.
They say time heals. But love doesn’t ask to be healed. Love asks to be remembered. It’s humbling to realize that this magnitude of suffering didn’t steal my love for my husband. It amplified it. It crystallized it.
I carry my Charlie in every breath, in every ache, and in every quiet act of day to day living as I attempt to relearn what that rhythm will be.
And what I’ve realized through these past 30 days is the greater the suffering, the purer the love. And I have never loved him more than I do now.
Thousands of dogs and cats live on our streets.
We want to change that, but without cruelty.
We have the financial resources, but we seek expert partners to make it a model for Latin America 🇸🇻🐾
Who wants to come and help us?
Well, I just got out of a FaceTime call with @ZacharyLevi.
What an incredible human.
I'm not gonna lie… coming out publicly for President Trump has been absolutely brutal on not just me, but our entire family.
Friends we’ve had for YEARS just... disowned us.
We've lost work because of what we believe.
We’ve been harassed online and in person.
And the worst part?
Even our 3 kids catch heat they never asked for… even though they don’t always see it, even though it often goes over their heads (thank God!).
But they were asleep in their beds when we got swatted, they remember.
It's no secret that my wife and I have looked at each other more than once and said, “Is this even worth it… if OUR KIDS are the ones paying the price too?”
It can be incredibly lonely sometime.
I say all that to say... holy crap, us talking with Zach was a breath of fresh air I didn't know I needed.
No performance. No lecture. Just a good man being kind. He listened, he asked questions.
WE TALKED FOR AN HOUR... he's insanely busy, and he talked to us for an hour.
It wasn’t even a political conversation.
It was just pure empathy and interest.
We talked about kids, work, history... honestly, I forgot I was talking to a freaking celebrity.
…because that's what kindness does, it just makes you remember the human in front of you
I walked out lighter.
Erin did too.
...we remembered WHY we chose to be honest in the first place.
Not because it’s easy or safe, but because it’s the ONLY WAY to live well.
Honesty might cost friends, gigs, comfort… but it buys peace.
It earns trust with our kids.
It lets you sleep at night and look people in the eye in the daylight.
I can’t control the noise out there, but I can live a life and build a home that tells the truth, loves other people, shows grace to critics, and keeps our hearts soft.
That’s the win. That’s living well. That's what I'm rooting for.
Thanks, @ZacharyLevi, for the reminder: more truth, more kindness, heads high.
We’ll be okay. ❤️
