@CODUpdates@Treyarch@CallofDuty are you aware of the massive frame drop issues plaguing Xbox I’m on Series X and can’t get through a zombies or MP game without my frames dropping to near 0.
This has been occurring since the season 1 reloaded patch.
@Rando_Stud@StarrBurrst_ I posted a video on my YouTube channel yesterday with about 10 of my boss runs from this map in it.
I’ve beaten the boss probably 20 times already (there’s a bug where if you save and quit after beating him, when you rejoin you can fight him again).
I’ve played the map plenty.
@GadroGamingg @TheRealDealJT@DETONATEDcom Haha it’s grown on me a bit more over the weekend but it’s definitely nowhere near the best map of all time like everyone is saying.
It’s definitely a good map but it’s at the bottom of the good maps tier list.
@UBA_Cost@xpertfusion3@0Stark24 Watch my boss guide! Patient 13 is way harder than The Guardian on solo if you have the right strategy against The Guardian.
XDefiant had good core mechanics but was largely unfun after a few games. There should have been things there day one to incentivize the player to play. The initial camos were not good and the store had largely unimpressive items.
I quit playing because there were no killstreaks and I found gun balancing to be poor.
I think this goes beyond early stages and goes into key decisions along the way that cost them big time.
I’d say Call of Duty launches at an average B each year. If you’re going to beat that, you have to release at a A++. I think XDefiant launched with a B rating too. That’s not going to cut it.
Yes, it’s anti-consumer because it’s anti-human.
For me this goes beyond greedy cost cutting and is a moral issue. You are teaching a machine to mimic human talent. I think it’s gross and irresponsible.
I think AI has some good uses but not in an artistic way.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 will be joining @XboxGamePass from 12th December!
All Xbox Series S|X Game Pass subscribers will be able to jump into our latest and greatest event, Post Malone’s Murder Circus! See you under the big top, Hunters.
This needs to be a big deal. Voices, likenesses, artistic skill, etc are what is essential to the human experience. The reason everyone loves the OG cast is because of the humanity and emotion within the characters. All of art is an expression of humanity.
AI should not be used, and if the community was willing to demand change for the 2xp tokens, we HAVE to demand change here. This is not okay.
Panic within Treyarch at the moment…
Almost all of the actors that feature in the Zombies crew in Black Ops 6 Zombies have pulled out of working over the lack of AI protections in their contracts. This has resulted in some of the disappointing recasts we are now seeing early on (Ex: SAM on Citadelle), with some likely still to be recast in future maps etc.

Not rage baiting.
I was super excited for this map and am incredibly disappointed with how it plays.
I struggle to find anything about the map I enjoy. Even the artistic choices let me done. I have another comment where I go into more detail but truly no part of this feels good to me.
@TheRealDealJT @GadroGamingg @DETONATEDcom I’m not the only guy btw.
I think as the honeymoon period ends more people will recognize that this map isn’t that good. Too many people caught up in the hype rn.
I agree with everything you’re saying. I wish I saw what most of the community is seeings.
I find that the map has little to no flow and it more or less plays like a clusterfuck. Amalgams do not help this and it’s super easy to lose them and the other boss zombie in the horde.
Wonder weapons are an embarrassment right now because they don’t sweep. I found the incantations uninspired.
Easter egg is building the swords and then 3 soul box steps (incantations, charging the traps, charging the orb) followed by a boss fight.
After Patient 13 which was incredible, the Guardian is so underwhelming. It feels like your typical zombies boss. I like your idea about making him the Nathan equivalent.
I was super hyped for this map. I think if they fixed the wonder weapons I’d enjoy it more, but honestly it just falls short right now.
Yeah we’re just way far apart. I wonder what we see differently.
My complaint isn’t with the tight corridors it’s with the entire map. Most of my dislike came from the more open areas on this map for what it’s worth, until Amalgams come in to play. I don’t think they work well in tight corridors and instead I think they actively make the game unfun.
We completely disagree on the Easter egg. Maybe it’s because I was doing it solo so doing 12 soul box steps (instead of 3 if you were in a 4 man) really killed it for me.
I loved Patient 13, but the Guardian feels more like the normal zombies boss… clunky and tanky with uninspired attacks.
But oh well, we’re allowed to have different opinions!
@xAlexTHFC@MrRoflWaffles Maybe my opinion changes today, but I think my expectations were too high coming in because I was honestly really hyped for it.
From an art standpoint I wish we could get away from vomit green as the main color pallet (especially for a medieval castle).
