My interview with CBC today regarding the government announcement to “clear the waitlist” for autism. Clearing the waitlist amounts to everybody getting nothing. From 30 hours of therapy per week down to 2. Anyone have an extra $70,000 to spend each year on what we just lost?

The new program is devastating to kids over 6. A 7 year old with severe autism receiving $10k of therapy a month will now be eligible for just $5000 a year. Their treatment is essentially over, and hope is gone.

Waited 2 years, recieved funding for 18 months and kicked out for no valid reason. Waiting for the 2nd time only to be told now we are too old to get intensive intervention. You can't make this stuff up. We've been fighting 10 years. I'm not going anywhere. #autismdoesntendatford
