@jillianspiridon I know what you mean, I want to write characters like this also to understand, but also to help readers "see" the people that live on the fringes of their societies.

My joints ached, I got sick a lot. I felt way older than I actually was. I used to feel tired all the time.

My energetic 67+ mom told me straight:

Now that I am, age doesn't matter.
