The 2021 Bahamas Bowl Hosts "Yards For Teachers" Grant
On Monday November 8th, 2021, a Press Conference was held to launch that start of the Bahamas Bowl's "Yards for teachers" grant. Twenty public school teachers will receive a $500 grant to be used to improve their classrooms.
Minister of State for Education and Technical and Vocational Training the Hon. Zane Lightbourne on November 11th, 2021, toured public schools in South Andros, and Mangrove Cay.
We are shocked and saddened to lose one of our campaign volunteers to a violent crime today. We offer our most sincere condolences to his family. Our very capable Royal Bahamas Police Force is investigating the tragic incident.

It is inexplicable that one week since the death of the Most Honourable Arthur D. Hanna that the Bahamian Government has not announced that flags should fly at half staff to mark the passing of the former Governor General until the time of the funeral.
