@FinancialPhys You’re devaluing the dollar essentially.
At the end of the day it is still a problem that young people are simply not motivated enough to do actual hard work.
@FinancialPhys Your point is that these trade/menial jobs just don’t pay enough to entice young people to do them. If the concrete dude is making $500k, then how much are you gonna have to pay cardiologists in this made up world? $3M?
@FinancialPhys Then does it really matter that you paid the tradesman $500k? The job is gonna pay based on the skill set needed to perform it and the supply of willing workers relative to other professions in the economy. In your example you’re only changing the measuring stick.
@MarkLIVE@espn wtf does legally have to do it? It’s in their contracts and the CBA. So no, legally they don’t have any ‘right’ to do any of the these thing. They sold those ‘rights’ in exchange for millions of dollars.
@QuentinPeele@MattWallace888 This is not the rule at all. You have to make an attempt to go to second. Usually umps interpret this by turning to face second base as an attempt to go to second. If you turn to face foul territory you’re usually good.
