I @ChadZaugg started writing the Zangs Mythos in 1990. Back then I was only planning on writing 1 movie script.
I’ve repeatedly tried to con @PeterZangs into doing the writing writing parts (you know the hard part) because much of it involves his family, but that hasn’t worked.
There's been a story idea pushing its way into my brain for many years now. I've taken down some notes. But the whole thing is so insanely complicated that I don't know how I could ever make it coherent and/or readable.
@Ollieeatsbrains Just to be clear & by no means to discourage you; you will not be the only one writing a golems/elves/dwarves/fairies/jinn/werewolves/magic/apocalyptic/scifi/monsters/aliens/gods/creation story.
We trust that your story is in good hands.
@Robinov14 @ScriptsByT One of our characters is very dark and is primarily written from the first person perspective.
We haven’t gotten past the outlining stage of that story yet but it is damn dirty dark.
So far I still feel that, that story needs to be told.
I can imagine how that hurts.
@ScriptsByT I don’t know that I create characters. They seem to come to me.
That being said; I would only bar a character from the page if they don’t progress the plot.
I love spoilering the ending of Peter Pan for people, because no one ever remembers the fact that the book actually ends with generation after generation of Wendy’s female descendants going to Neverland to clean for Peter Pan because he’s a boy who can’t look after himself
@ChadZaugg,
How much of your madness is choice. And is that madness procrastinating your destiny, or acknowledging that you must accept madness just to survive.
How can you possibly be yourself if you don’t embrace and enjoy the madness you were born into.
