Motion V2 has started rolling out. @motiontip

From what I’ve seen, the system has changed quite significantly.
Now the only way into the protocol is through a tip from an allocator. That tip acts as a soft invite, and then you still need to pass the scan/verification before you can take a seat.

The goal is clear: reduce bots, spam, and pure farming. That’s fair.

Congratulations also to the first tippers who have been announced, including:
@AvgJoesCrypto, @gmoneyNFT, @dcfgod, @ika_xbt, @gabrielhaines, and @0xKioto.

However, one thing that feels off is the beta points reset without a clear official announcement from the team.

There is already a “Beta Claiming” menu on the website (still marked as SOON), so it seems like there is still a plan for claims. But so far there has been no official explanation about the mechanism or criteria.

No matter what, the beta users were the ones who bagworked from the beginning, created content, replied, quoted, and spread $MOTION. They also contributed significantly to the token burns during that period. Without their early activity, Motion wouldn’t have grown this fast.

A reset is understandable, but transparent communication is much more important — especially for the people who dedicated time and effort from day one.

Hopefully the team will be more open about major changes like this going forward.

For now, let’s see how V2 develops.

As a beta user, we spent weeks creating content, tipping, and supporting Motion because we believed in the project.

Resetting everything for V2 without properly rewarding the beta contributors feels disappointing.

I hope Motion can reconsider how early users are treated. The community is what helped build the project in the first place.

The Motion team's actions are deeply regrettable; in their latest update, they made no mention of a point reset. I was a strong supporter of V2. Yet, the situation took a complete 180-degree turn; they unilaterally reset everyone's points across the board without any prior notice to the community. For those of us who are truly part of the community, this comes as a major blow. Will the developers follow the path of those who ruin their own reputations casting aside the community once the project grows big? I urge them to make decisions more wisely; we support V2, but genuine, dedicated members should not be disregarded in this manner. It is our right we worked hard, day and night, to build ideas and create content
