It may seem obvious, but you need to make sure your LEDs are definitely dimmable. The packaging or instruction sheet should state this. Otherwise, expect flicker, flash and buzz galore.

Use good quality lamps. Cheaper models tend to cause a much larger inrush current, which can make loads difficult to calculate, and result in flicker and circuit overloads.

Don't trust the wattage written on the box. That will not account for inrush.

Leave a generous inrush allowance, or have your lamps tested independently before fitting on site.
