As a trilingual first-generation immigrant (born and raised in MTL), I gotta say that living in Quebec …often feels like being in a toxic relationship with someone who doesn’t accept you for who you are, and makes rules you need to obey because *they said so*.
#CAQ is divisive.

@KDimitratos Yep. Having lived and worked in Athens for three years, I was told this a lot. But, I ignored the naysayers and preferred the company of those actually making things happen for GR. Those who continuously contribute to its cultural, social, and economic fabric—the open minded!

When I feel like the world’s gone mad (which is often), I remind myself that Earth is about 4.54 billion years old, and that modern forms of humanity have only been around for 200,000 years, and civilization, as we know it, is only about 6000 years old. We have a long ways to go.

I know, not very comforting. Hopefully when Gen Z makes up the majority of the workplace things will shake up for the better faster.
