@tsukideko ds1 definitely has SOME dated & clunky aspects, and im sure even you can agree that basic mob bosses are certainly nothing special. especially when one of them gets used twice with virtually no changes other than appearance
@RFX154 the early live feed 'moments' all but confirmed it was jason. unknown's original teaser was extremely popular,(they even show up in the stream at one point too) so im not surprised this is the route they took, especially since the first teaser video confirmed it was jason anyway
@ClericKnight I like this design personally, enemies should be actual obstacles and not something you just blatantly ignore. they don't have ''infinite aggro'' either, just standing in the right place is what causes them to move towards you. Even just realizing that gives you a huge advantage.
@morimedemo gotta love how myers slashes the fuck out of this guy repeatedly and not only do they manage to equip a random ass pitchfork, they still take down myers before dying and get to escape anyways LOL

@ScottJund something I suggest doing is enforcing either a build or challenge and then landlocking yourself to a region until you beat that respective shardbearer, helps me enjoy it a lot more personally
@pellerfon for melee users yea, this is extremely optimized play. He even sneaks a hit in DURING waterfowl and gets a full charged r2 for just moving out of the way instead of rolling through her attack.
@AbyssHeavy if waterfowl didn't exist at least in the way that it does, I would certainly like her a lot more, since even just a tad bit of bad positioning will likely end a run lol, and it's certainly not that fun to watch her do it 4-5 times in a row, had that happen in my rl1 run :[
@AbyssHeavy she's certainly fun to fight one-on-one but waterfowl will always be a point of contention since it's just not intuitive to avoid. she invokes a lot of passive play since she punishes mistakes a lot more than any other boss
@100000000kills@Odra_MH@gemahtreeuhh and at the very least, the vast majority of enemies in DS2 aren't total damage sponges so most of the 1-on-1 encounters even with the alonne knights won't even go beyond 10-15 seconds. The only truly bad RB in this game lies with lud & zallen
@100000000kills@Odra_MH@gemahtreeuhh I can't say that I agree with RS, purely because they give you multiple ways of accessing the hallway preceding the fogwall. Smelter's RB is so heavily scripted that getting back to the fogwall is a cinch
