Conflict is inevitable in every relationship, but it doesn’t have to leave damage behind. Disagreements are a part of life, but how we handle them makes all the difference.
Following Jesus reshapes the way we approach conflict. It’s not about winning arguments, it’s about strengthening relationships through humility, listening, and forgiveness.
You may not avoid every disagreement… but you can choose how you respond in the middle of it.
Join us this tomorrow at 9 & 11AM (or online) as Pastor Mark Avery discusses how to navigate conflict with a win-win mindset and build trust instead of breaking it.
Do you want to see the renewal only God's living truth can bring?

Technology is a powerful tool, but without intention, it can quietly take control of our attention.
Every notification, like, and endless scroll is designed to keep us consuming. But what if we used our screens for something greater?
Instead of constantly consuming, we can create. Instead of distraction, we can pursue purpose. We can use technology to encourage others, share our faith, learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships.
Don't let your screen control you. Use it for good. Create more. Consume less.

Technology is a powerful tool, but without intention, it can quietly erode connection. Endless scrolling can pull us away from the moments and people right in front of us.
Following Jesus calls us to be present, attentive, and intentional in how we love others. That means using technology wisely so it serves our relationships instead of replacing them.
You may not eliminate every distraction… but you can choose to be fully present.
Join us this tomorrow at 9 & 11AM (or online) as @benstapley explores how to live with intentional presence and make sure our digital habits don’t come at the cost of real connection.
How many hours of screen time do you spend on your phones per day?
We asked our staff members the same question.
This Sunday at ZCC, we're continuing our Relationship Reset series with a message called "Scrolling on Purpose." We'll talk about how to use technology instead of letting it use us, and how to build healthier relationships with God and others in a screen-filled world.

One of the biggest lies our culture tells us is that there's a "perfect time" to get married. The truth is, there will always be another reason to wait: more money, a better job, a bigger house, or more stability. If you're waiting for perfect circumstances, you'll be waiting forever.
God has given us a clear design for relationships, dating, and marriage. That's why so many couples who live together without the commitment of marriage often find themselves building a relationship on convenience instead of covenant. God's boundaries aren't meant to restrict us, they're meant to protect us and help us flourish.
Date with intention. Date with discernment. Pursue God's standards, honor His boundaries, and trust His timing.

In a culture driven by chemistry and convenience, wisdom can feel countercultural. Slowing down, asking better questions, and choosing discernment over impulse isn’t always easy, but it’s necessary.
Following Jesus shapes not just who we are, but how we date. It means prioritizing character over feelings, setting healthy boundaries, and pursuing relationships with clarity and purpose.
You may not control every feeling… but you can choose how you approach dating.
Join us tomorrow at 9 & 11AM (or online) as @wscottjones talks about what it looks like to date with discernment, pursue wisdom, and build with a long-term vision, because who you date shapes who you become.
This past weekend, we had the honor of celebrating three incredible moms at our Embrace Grace baby shower. 💛
Over the past 12 weeks, these women walked through a journey of encouragement, healing, truth, and hope through our Embrace Grace support group. Together we talked about trusting Jesus, forgiveness, identity in Christ, replacing lies with God’s truth, and so much more. Most importantly, we had the opportunity to point these mamas toward Jesus, the One who changes lives forever.
Embrace Grace exists to provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to women experiencing unexpected pregnancies, and this semester, all three of these moms chose life. What a beautiful reminder that every life matters and every story matters.
We are so grateful for every volunteer who helped make this baby shower so special. Those who donated gifts, brought desserts, wrapped presents, set up decorations, and served behind the scenes. Your generosity helped these moms feel seen, loved, celebrated, and supported.
Please continue praying for these brave moms and their babies as they step into this new season. 💕
Marriage isn’t just about happiness, it’s about mission.
A God-centered marriage reflects the glory of God to the world around us. When we choose to honor, serve, forgive, and love one another sacrificially, we begin to reflect His character through our relationship.
But we can’t build the marriage God designed on our own strength. That’s why we pray bold, dangerous prayers asking God to change us, shape us, humble us, and keep Him at the center of it all.
A healthy marriage isn’t two perfect people.
It’s two people continually surrendering to a perfect God.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.
As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we pause with gratitude for those who courageously laid down their lives for others. We remember their sacrifice, honor their legacy, and pray for the families who carry their memory every day.
Marriage is more than companionship, it’s partnership with purpose. When two people choose to align their relationship with God’s design, something deeper begins to take shape.
Because marriage isn’t just about getting through life together, it’s about building something meaningful together. Through intentionality, unity, and faith, your relationship can become a force for good in your home, your church, and your community.
You may not always control the challenges you face… but you can choose to pursue a marriage that’s on mission.
Join us tomorrow at 9 & 11AM (or online) as Pastor Mark Avery explores what it means to move from simply surviving together to building something impactful together.

What an incredible time at Devoted 2026! 💐✨
Over 100 women gathered together last week for our annual women’s conference to deepen their faith, embrace their identity in Christ, and encourage one another in community. From inspiring messages and engaging breakout sessions to meaningful conversations throughout the day, God moved in powerful ways.
We’re so thankful for every woman who joined us and can’t wait to see how God continues to work through what He started at Devoted. 🤍
Your workplace isn’t just where you work, it’s where God has placed you on mission.
Even with complicated coworkers, difficult leadership, or supervisors far from God, Jesus can still move through your attitude, your grace, and your faithfulness.
Sometimes God makes a way through us.
A kind word. A patient response. A faithful presence.
Light shines brightest where it’s darkest.
God can make a way where there seems to be no way. 🙏

Work relationships can be some of the hardest, because we don’t get to choose the people around us. Personalities clash, expectations collide, and pressure has a way of bringing everything to the surface.
But following Jesus doesn’t stop at the church doors, it shows up in how we work, how we respond, and how we treat people.
You may not control who you work with… but you can control how you show up.
Join us this tomorrow at 9 & 11AM, (or online) as @benstapley discusses how to navigate workplace tension with integrity, maturity, and Christlike character.
Ladies! Our Devoted Women's Conference is this Saturday from 9am-2pm right here at ZCC!
Come on out to learn how to live authentically for Jesus!
