@ZarkRaja of @SVI_Pakistan writes that Feb 5, 2026 marks the expiry of #NewSTART, ushering in a “blind nuclear era.” A grave warning for global security, where fear replaces verification and misjudgment replaces certainty: https://t.co/trOSOKQ4L7
US–Russia military-to-military communication is back after New START’s expiry, but legally binding limits on nuclear arsenals are gone. Dialogue may reduce miscalculation, yet the collapse of arms control deepens risks of a renewed nuclear arms race in an unstable, multipolar world:

The silence of global community is clearly the detachment from global norms, and endorsement of Israeli brutality through inertia. The ferocity of Israel is clearly a violation of international humanitarian law and showcase the global priority of profiteering over conscience. The war is not just about muscle-flexing, it is an industry that is being feed on the genocide being done at Gaza. The question here is not whether the world will stop Israel from this mass murder, but will it be able to afford it?

In IPI’s latest Strategic File, @ZarkRaja of @SVI_Pakistan says India’s Agni-Prime is costly, outdated & strategically redundant. Pakistan should use diplomacy & scholarship to highlight risks to nuclear restraint & regional stability:

SVI Monitoring |
The newly identified missile site in Jangalapalle, Andhra Pradesh in India carries a worrying trend of nuclear opacity in South Asia by India. The missile site, as revealed by satellite imagery, is capable of storage and handling of long-range Indian nuclear missiles and is coupled with launchpads and tunnel networks. This indicates that the site can be used to store and launch nuclear missiles in a short span of time.
The creation of such elaborate nuclear sites poses a significant challenge to the strategic stability of South Asia. The creation of such sites is an indication of India’s designs to fuel further chaos and challenge the norms of stabilization and peaceful coexistence in the region. In a region with already frail crisis management mechanisms, such opaque measures are further eroding trust.
Such facilities, coupled with India’s growing missile arsenal and testing should be considered a real threat to regional and international security and must be recognized as a destabilizing factor in South Asia.
@ZackPreacher@IranUrduNew Pay what? Haven't you seen what Pakistan did to India? Wasn't that trailer enough for the world to know what Pakistan is capable of? Stay away from the Muslim world or get yourselves frogmarched into shackles by your own hand!
