introducing … my metokis !

these little guys are the physical manifestation of a person’s inner soul when they lose or hide a piece of themselves — once they’re separated from the body, they go off to the Dreamyard where they are completely free to be their true selves without any fear or judgement.

but worry not ! everyone’s metoki can still come back to them someday. when they’re prepared to accept this piece of themselves back in, the metoki will return with all the love and support from their little lives and hope to share this feeling with their heart.

some metokis will start off looking a bit scary or unsettling, because some people may have had a bad experience that led to the creation of their metoki — this might look like the loss of a cherished pet, a side of themselves they feel they can’t show, or a ruined love for a past hobby that weighs heavy on their heart now.

when things are too difficult to bear alone, a metoki will come along to help carry the burden of overcoming hardships. with time, they may begin to look less and less grotesque, before they return to their host with love and newfound friends they made along the way, rather than forever grieving.

the process of healing or finding yourself is never easy, but my metokis hope that they can aid you in your journey. 💜
