What criteria were used to select the members of this Somalia delegation ❓

We will compare Somali and Ethiopian delegation and will start with Somali delegation.

The delegation of HSM to Turkey consists of :

1) The Foreign Minister Ahmed Mo’allim Fiqi who has an undergraduate in geography from a university in Sudan.

2) The Defence Minister who has a diploma in security from a university in Turkey and is rumoured to work for foreign government for his position.

3) The national security Hussein Mo’allim who has no certificate and worked as a cabdriver in London and now closer to UK intelligence agency of M16 (the former minister of security fired him for this before).

4) The information minister Daud Aweys who has a background in media as a correspondent for the BBC and has a high school certificate in Tanzania.

5) Senior Advisor Axmed Jaamac Cillal who is a kind of traditional leader in Puntland but was made by HSM as his international relations advisor to humiliate Said Abdullahi Deni.

On the #Puntland election, President Hassan Sheikh and Prime Minister Hamza Abdi have agreed to back immediate former foreign minister Abshir Huruuse as their preferred candidate.

On 17th December, at the presidential palace a meeting was convened from 2PM to 9:30PM which settled on financial support for Abshir’s campaign from $5 million to his demand of $7 million from the state coffers. He was dispatched to #Garowe

Also discussed in the meeting was the planned delegations which will join to campaign for DamulJadid’s preferred candidate Abshir Huruuse.
