Video: The EU is providing €3.5 million in emergency humanitarian aid funding to the people affected by the earthquake in Herat, Afghanistan.
The Director-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations, Maciej Popowski, and the EU Chargée d’Affaires a.i. to Afghanistan, Raffaella Iodice, arrived in Herat this morning. Popowski, said that the fund will be used by the EU partners to help the people who are affected by the earthquake.
