Cry. Out. VIctory. Daily (COVID) For we will not be defined by this enemy!
“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” #1Corinthians15 v57
A new low in the long tradition of abusing religion for political gain: Trump teargassing peaceful protesters so he can pose before a historic church he doesn't attend holding Bible he neither reads nor intends to obey! Why are many of us who love Bible / church so easily duped?
As your Spirit moved over the face of the waters
bringing light and life to your creation,
pour out your Spirit on us today
that we may walk as children of light
Such sad news that the brilliant #ravizacharias has died. Giving thanks tonight for his faithful witness down many decades ‘helping thinkers believe & believers think’. What a joyous welcome he is surely receiving - from the many and the One - on the other side. @RZIMhq
ICYMI last week: I’ve seen this attributed to me, but it’s not my quote. After investigating, we found the original - it belongs to the writer, Sonya Renee Taylor. When sharing these beautiful and powerful words - please use this image with her name. Attribution matters.
A message for Easter:
This Easter, the church has been stretched and tested to find ways to bear witness to the love that we have found in Jesus Christ, the love that conquers all. Even though our buildings are closed, the Church remains open.

Praying tonight for NHS staff on the front line, the growing number of people we know who have the virus, for the defeat of this enemy and for the peace of Christ to reign where there is anxiety and fear.
Today (Wednesday), I’ll be praying the Lord’s Prayer with Pope Francis and millions around the world at midday Rome time (11am UK).
Please join us wherever you are. Prayer unites us in testing times.
