@SBharathNaraya1@IanCutress Does it though? I mean it gets us out of the RAMpocalyse, sure, but at the end of the day, the energy and chemicals needed to manufacture on wafer remains the same whether you have one fab or 17 fabs. I'm asking about the latter case.
@GPUsAreMagic Oh, and for those who would immediately be wondering if I have seen 235ppi... I basically have: I've had 235ppi in a laptop , and my previous desktop monitor was Samsung's 5K 27" at 218ppi.
@GPUsAreMagic Not quite. 235ppi is solid, but for I need at least 280ppi to get there, which is why I've ended up here with the ol' Dell UP3218K on the cheap. Would love to get a PA32KCX, but that's a *lot* of money, and >60Hz is still a few years away.
@spring_meowmeow@WindowsLatest if the API was public, we'd have at least 7 native apps or plugins by bored folks. Unfortunately, the API is not public (so they can shove ads into our faces Eventually™)
@matiasgoldberg I have not noticed, so my personal opinion is that it doesn't matter that much.
As for the lack of games, sure, that's no problem - I have other far, *far* better machines (and games) to play on. Sure, mobile gaming is the most profitable, but they're also predatory garbage.
@OmanTheHuman1@Nicky28715339@tylerduran21@AlsikkanTV But they still used *tons* of special lighting. Of course, nobody who knows mentions it because basically all video scenes are shot that way, but "shot on iPhone" does read a lot cleaner than "shot on iPhone and 10k+ USD of lighting"
Got mine preordered. Excited to see what all will be possible in the future between the #Morph and #RetroGem modded consoles. This will be a excellent addition to the new shop. 👍
Now I just need to find me a 4K TV for the shop. Any suggestions!? I'm all 👂👂
@keithmweaver About 24 hours after your initial post, it seems that all references to E5 tier have been removed? Or is that restriction detailed on a different page?
@pcper As someone who bought a laptop that shippde with Windows 11 preinstalled, downgraded it to 10 through a clean install, and then in-place upgraded it to Windows 11 22H2 with no issues... wtf are you guys on about?!
