I wouldn’t be surprised to see xAI lead frontier models within months.

Quality alone won’t win. Companies won’t sacrifice margins for marginal gains in intelligence. Speed and cost efficiency matter just as much.

That’s where Musk’s vertical integration gets interesting

Starlink generates cash and provides connectivity -> SpaceX/xAI control AI infrastructure, compute and models -> X provides data and distribution -> Tesla adds real-world deployment/physical endpoints

And each layer strengthens the next:

cash -> more infrastructure -> cheaper compute -> faster iteration -> cheaper inference -> more usage -> more feedback -> better models -> more demand -> more cash to reinvest
