The objective of Terminal 1 airdrop is to：
1）motivate those long term aligned to mega and revitalize them
2）Minimize airdrop to those intending to bridge out
I’m not surprised if team has some analytics tool like meltwater for high-level sentiment analysis. So if your final points is lower than expected, the team might have detected possibly heresy and thoughts of betrayal. (Not the best for the bros voicing valid criticism if the tool misunderstands you)

I am suicidally okay with them nuking season 1 airdrop (even though I’m number 7 ranked, that’s how long term aligned I am) because as far as I’m concerned this short experiment is over with and right now they need to focus everything on the future dapps that the team seems to be deving themselves individually. (1 app per team member ?) These Season 2 or future apps will reap more rewards for people who stay when they get their bespoke gtm experiences.

If you believe in the team and don’t intend to instantly bridge out without looking back, then the usdm rewards short term will not matter. (But I definitely am not blind to the bros who burnt funds and time on farming, hope yall get some compensation)

Over the past year, TRY has depreciated ~30% against USD.
Run the math : 45% APY × (1 − 30% FX loss) ≈ ~1–2% real return.
So most of that yield gets eaten by currency depreciation.
APY alone is misleading in this case 😄
