Prince Harry and his #InvictusGames featured in the Uganda TB Gazette
Uganda will make its debut at the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.
Hon. kiryowa kiwanuka, Minister of Defense said: “the partnership reflects Uganda's commitment to honoring those who have served the nation”
The #InvictusGames gave Rachel Kerrigan a reason to believe in herself again.
After leaving the Armed Forces, Rachel was facing significant challenges. She was struggling with her mental health, recovering from a suicide attempt, living with cancer and felt unable to be the parent she wanted to be.
When her daughter encouraged her to compete at the Invictus Games, Rachel took a step that would change the direction of her life. Through the Games, she found a renewed sense of purpose and began her recovery journey.
Today, she is thriving and using her experience to encourage others who may be facing their own difficult road ahead.
Hear Rachel tell her story at the IGF Conversation at the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023.
"We are honoured our Founder and Patron has been recognised in the @TIME 100 Sports list.
Thank you to TIME for shining a light on the work of the #InvictusGames Foundation and the extraordinary community behind it.
Sport has the power to change lives and, in some cases, to save them. Through the work of the Invictus Games Foundation, wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans rediscover purpose, rebuild confidence and regain a sense of identity.
What began as a belief in the power of sport has grown into a global movement, one that not only supports recovery, but creates community, belonging and hope. It proves every day that sport can restore meaning and, for some, be truly life‑saving.
We are proud of this recognition, but most importantly, we are proud of the Invictus Community, whose resilience and determination inspire everything we do.

The #InvictusGames Foundation welcomes the news of funding reinstatement for Invictus Australia. Our CEO Rob Owen OBE says,
"Fantastic news on the decision to renew federal funding for Invictus Australia given the proven impact that sport and community have on veteran recovery, rehabilitation and suicide prevention. Through the work of Invictus Australia, and the wider global movement led by the Invictus Games Foundation, we have seen first-hand how sport can help wounded, injured and sick veterans rebuild confidence, restore purpose, strengthen family relationships and reconnect with their communities. We are delighted to see continued government support in Australia for this work."

I’m completely stranded at Moscow airport… alone, helpless, and running out of hope.
No one from @makemytripcare or @etihad is answering my desperate messages.
Russia doesn’t accept Visa or Mastercard anymore.
I have ZERO cash left. Not even for food or water.
The Etihad ground staff is avoiding me more than my ex ever did — literally turning their faces away and telling me “just call customer care”… which has been busy for hours. I’m standing here like a beggar in my own nightmare.
I don’t know how I’m going to get home. I’m scared. I feel abandoned by the very companies I trusted with my journey. My family is waiting and I can’t even tell them I’m safe.
Please… if anyone from Etihad, MakeMyTrip, or even the Indian embassy sees this — HELP ME.
And if you’re reading this, just one RT could save me. I’m begging.

I am grateful to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, for their generosity and compassion shown this week in Jordan to recognize the efforts of the Kingdom, and many partners, to advance universal health coverage.
Importantly, they brought attention to the need for sustained action to promote and protect the health of all people, from injured and ill children from Gaza receiving lifesaving care in Jordan, to delivering dignified mental health services to those in need, and providing health care services to Syrian refugees.
At a time of division and turbulence, I appreciate Prince Harry and Meghan's support to the World Health Organization and others, as humanitarians and philanthropists committed to improving global health and wellbeing.
Know someone or an organisation who represents the very best of the international Invictus Community?
