You see, the simple truth of the matter is there’s no going back to the person you used to be before you went through that traumatic experience. And the reason for that is just as simple as the fact itself—that person no longer exists. Yes.
It is a universal truth that trauma changes you, even to the point of altering your brain’s physiology in some cases. As such, you’ve become an entirely different person.
By age 35 in the UK, you should have:
• A good budget
• A Stocks & Shares ISA
• Life insurance, critical illness cover and/or income protection
• A 3-6 month emergency fund
• A pension plan (workplace or private)
• A will and power of attorney
What would you add?
Heal you so you can break your own dysfunctional patterns and recognize them when they show up in your connections, acquaintances, friendships, groups, networks, situations, tribes, and relationships.
Then add being compatible & dedicated enough to last long term? Finding “your person” is a lot of luck, bit of work and overall a real big blessing.
