Advocate Sello has challenged Jacob’s claims that the CHC depot lacked sufficient space for officials to properly conduct their work on site.
She has pointed out that on 13 July 2021, just a month after the 541kg cocaine bust, a separate operation at the same depot resulted in the seizure of 999kg of drugs. However, Jacob says he may be mistaken, but does not believe that operation took place at the same depot.
