@SMTNetwork@LimitedRunGames ...I guess Clear River management wasn't quite as scared of the Raidou fans holding them to task as they were of the Sonic fans.
Last night the secret meeting between industry lobbyists, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot and the EU Commission took place. This is a test for democracy! We now have to wait to see whether the word of 1 CEO means more to politicians than the request of 1.294.188 EU citizens.
@TheUncleAlShow If you pay attention to European politics (hey, it beats looking at American politics) you'll see that Ubisoft has actually been leading a lobby against laws that would force software preservation; essentially spending what little money they have to make games legally worse
@laughinglich07 I just think it's weird she looks EXACTLY the same in every game. Baker and North are voice actors so they at least sound different each time
@RyanSilberman Training. At least for Nintendo. They believe strongly in institutional knowledge, and if a new team wants to take on a legacy IP they have to learn by doing. Next Level had to do the same for punch-out. It's just now Nintendo needs to make their graphics money back
@4BrandonJS4 Unfortunately, for religious reasons I cannot in good conscience support the game. What the hell kinda platformer needs an internet connection to function?!
@antdude92 I choose to lie to myslef in the blind hope that maybe, just maybe, there will be a PS5 reprint that doesn't offend me on a political and spiritual level
@SockTalking The Rabbids have lore and it's nothing but batfuck insanity. So I think it can work if they approach it from the right "fuck it, we ball" angle
