@FAAAAAAAAANI_ we are also told in an episode with Unohana speaking to Ichigo that his clothes are part of his bankai, they show his remaining and active reiatsu. This IS a bankai, just one that changes his physical alterations over STRICTLY the blade, ichigo doesn’t have a perfect balance yet.

@FAAAAAAAAANI_ @OrewaFriend It is simply BECAUSE of the future he saw with zangetsu. Like I said everything is implied in this series, nothing is outright told to you, it’s shown or symbolic. Zangetsu has a future that tells you WHY tensa zangetsu NEEDED to be destroyed for Yhwach to win.

@OrewaFriend @FAAAAAAAAANI_ because it isn’t the same bankai, the entire point of Tensa Zangetsu is its culmination of everything Ichigo has, the only thing NOT in that blade is the hollow powers he exudes which REMAINS ON HIS BODY. Which you said through the chains on his body in Hell chain “bankai”

@FAAAAAAAAANI_ So from my years of Bleach, i’ve noticed something. Everything is usually implied instead of told. Hell chains- is a form of “bankai” pulled from the hollow ‘lineage’ per se whilst “true bankai” is a culmination of all of it. Ultimate form- as in what ichigo found best to dmg him
