@ABCmediawatch This was a very weak story. An episode of that podcast gets about 10,000 views. It’s tiny and the viewers are direct fans of Planet America, looking for more of that content. The reality is that nobody that podcast is making any money. It’s a passion project, and a loss leader.
@fozzie1488@Cmet98@ABCmediawatch He’s not lol. You don’t know what you’re talking about. He’s constantly in the firing line on his podcast for going against left wing narratives. Right in the center.
@danieltharris@Tynach@stacy_siz@AnthoVdo That's probably true for Australia as well. But in some situations, you simply can't sell what you're making in Australia, while it's completely legal in the US. So it's either no profits or some heavily taxed profits, I guess.
@The_Sarge11@Julesitter@piersmorgan@PeteHegseth Mate, this isn't some middle level government position where knowledge and education doesn't matter. This is literally right at the top. He should have at least a CURSORY understanding of what's going on in the world. I fear that the future involves serious US strategic blunders.
@Valdaree2@RonniSalt@ajamesbragg Pretty interesting take. Surprisingly accurate when I thought about it. Although I always question the wisdom of people racking up HECS debt without a career plan. Unexpected disability is an obvious exception though. Too many people are too comfortable with spending their super.
@GlennontheGC@JasonClareMP Bro, that's exactly what I did, although I did it about 5 years ago. At least 20% would only really wipe out the amount it would've increased since then, so I wouldn't really be any better off.
@Aerobrake77@annylaifu It happened to me all through high school and university. Really awful. Turned out I was struggling with bipolar. When I was diagnosed I finally went on medicine and it made things better. Gave me time to build a better life and build strength.
@DylanF19910715 @Noboho450157@_misfit_love@fanfan It’s not as easy as it looks buddy. I played a mage every day for 12 years. There’s always ways to die.
@piersmorgan@PeteHegseth What has he been doing the past few months? How did he not care enough about the position to have no clue what ASEAN was? It legitimately appears that I know more about US geopolitics and strategy than the guy being considered for THE position!
@SenDuckworth I have no idea how you knew Hegseth didn’t know what ASEAN is but that question was gold! What has he been doing the last couple months? You’d think he’d at least pull up a Wikipedia article on US geopolitics.
@Tynach@stacy_siz@AnthoVdo There are reasons to do it around product legality. For example some things that are illegal or questionable in Australia are legal in the US. But if you do it this way, you have to be prepared to spend money to deal with exactly this kind of situation. They’re unprepared.
@pavelsvitek_ So in case you didn’t know. There is a difference in the scope of a standard function versus an arrow function. You should learn the difference or you’re going to run into some troubles.
