🇧🇦 🇵🇸 Bosnian football fans have taken over the streets of major North American host cities during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, chanting "Palestina, Palestina" and waving Palestinian flags in a massive display of solidarity.

The viral demonstrations have occurred across Toronto, Los Angeles, and Seattle with thousands of supporters marching to group-stage matches. On June 12 in Toronto, fans filled the streets before facing Canada, and drew parallels between the genocide and Bosnia's own historical trauma. On June 18 in Los Angeles, a sea of fans echoed the same chants in Inglewood before playing Switzerland, hoisting a large "Sarajevo for Palestine" banner.

The movement continued in Seattle on Wednesday morning, June 24, before Bosnia and Herzegovina's final Group B match against Qatar at Lumen Field. Fans gathered at the Seattle waterfront and Pier 62 and marched through the streets toward the stadium while loudly chanting "Palestina" and waving flags.

The chants also continued inside the arena, echoing through the stands when the Bosnian team celebrated their goals during the match. The day concluded with Bosnia and Herzegovina securing a decisive 3-1 victory over Qatar, booking their spot in the Round of 32.
