Saying "morning", "afternoon", or "evening" without adding the 'Good', makes feel somehow, especially when I know you are younger than me.
I got the message below from a cousin. I have corrected her but no changes. So I ignored.

On time is better than late. Being punctual is a sign of respect, and shows that you value other people's time. When you're late, you're not only inconveniencing others, but you're also missing out on opportunities. Time is precious, so use it wisely!
