After 7 years, I've finally done it. 4:54,365, I'm the first ever brazillian to have untied WR in any% of smb1, and it's way better than I ever expected to have it be. HOWEVER, the grind is not over. There are still 6 frames to be saved until I'm done. Stay tuned! :)

This morning, CountLG set one of the greatest Ocarina of Time World Records ever.

MST in 1:35:00

Over a minute ahead of Marco’s 2nd place run (1:36:07) and over 2 minutes ahead of Amateseru in 3rd (1:37:01)

His previous PB was 1:38:19!!

This will never ever happen again in Mario Kart World, and maybe never again from any Mario Kart game.

Late to this, but it's been 10 years since I set my first WR in a speedgame, being a 7:49 in the flash game Vex 2. I will never let this run see the light of day again, but its been wild to see both how the speedrunning community has changed, and how I've changed in that time.

I put in a few submissions for AGDQ, but honestly I might pull them as I don't really know many people in my immediate friend groups who plan on attending. Might just be better to save them for SGDQ.
