After 13 1/2 years, Maximus, Maxi-Pad, Maxi, Max, passed away yesterday. He was my first dog--I got him at 24 and from then on, my life was never the same. He was with me through all my highs, and many of my lows...but he was the one constant in my life.

I could always come home to find him there waiting to give me unconditional love. No matter what, I was person, and he was my pup. He might be gone now, but the one thing I can be happy about is that he got to grow old with the person he loved...not all dogs have that opportunity

Flying to Dallas then home to KC. Two weeks at home to get shit done then I drive to Colorado Springs for two weeks, four days later I fly to Guam for two weeks to see my everything...them back home for three months to find a house to buy. So much going on.
