뜬금없이 유튜브 수익정지를 당했다.
가히 인생 TOP5안에 들 정도로 황당한 일이다. 더 황당한 것은, 멤버십 회원은 멤버십 취소까지 당한 것이다.

공식적인 정지사유는 ‘허위 컨텐츠’로써,
가치 없이 조회수를 높이기 위해 대량 제작되었거나 반복되는 것으로 보이는 콘텐츠라고 한다.

의문을 느껴 조사해보니 AI제작 영상에 칼바람이 불고 있는 것이 확인되었다.

페이스리스 다큐 형식의 특성때문에 유튜브의 자동 검토에 의한 실수가 아닐까 했다. 그래서 이의제기를 했지만, 하루만에 거절되었다.

이의제기 리젝 역시 처음과 비슷한 사유로써, 대량 생산, 중복 컨텐츠등이 지적되었다.

그런데..
이의제기의 검토까지 자동화 처리를 한듯 하다. 이의제기용 동영상에서 내가 AI가 아니며, 중복 컨텐츠가 아님을 어필하며 제작과정을 설명했다. 그러나 정작 이의제기 동영상은 확인도 하지 않고 결정이 내려진 것이다.

이시점에서 여러 의심이 가능하지만, 그냥 관료주의의 폐혜에 가깝다고 본다.

참으로 황당한일이 아닐수 없지만, 한편으론 AI시대로 가는 과도기의 부작용이 그만큼 커지고 있는 것이 아닐까 한다.
