Just like Neha Bora, I have seen Vinod fighting on the streets. I have seen him getting detained, manhandled and bruised. He is out there every single day, fighting for the right causes and showing up wherever people need support. That’s what I have seen him do, time and again.

Even before these protests, he was at Satya Niketan, participating in rescue efforts. I also saw him at Sunlight Colony Police Station, where protesters had gathered to demand justice for Chongtham Vikram Singh, the Manipuri musician beaten to death in Delhi’s Kilokari area. Vinod was there too, standing with the people and fighting for justice.

Leadership is about showing up when it matters, standing with people and fighting for what is right, even when it comes at a cost. And I have seen Vinod Jakhar do exactly that, time and again. Respect.

P.S. Someone please gift the poor chap a shirt. Don’t know if Delhi Police ever returned his. 🤣
