For the record, if you have anything you want to talk about (Something wrong I said, did, endorced, etc) Feel free to DM me about it! I'm pretty bad at explaining stuff through text, but I love discussing ideas and learning new perspectives.
Watching two classic DOOM deathmatch players unexpectedly steal the show at Quakecon back when they still did Quake Live tournaments

Not trying to call out the OP, but important to note that this is NOT, IMO, Input Buffer from before the fight started.
Most Specials and Supers only have a 10f input buffer (you can press the button on the tenth frame). The Super happened 26 frames after Round Start (yes I counted them). Even SPDs and 720s have less than that at 20-21 frames of Input Buffer.
But to Kaymin's point, we don't see Cosa crouch at all. Even watching it frame by frame there are NO appearances of Akuma crouching at all, even the few times he reverses direction. Maybe if somehow Down was pressed for only one frame when changing directions we don't see any perceivable crouch at all? Cosa appears to be playing on pad, not sure if he's on D-pad or Analog (please correct me if I am wrong on this). This lack of crouching part I still am not sure how to logically explain it.
For the record: I've seen some people say that Cosa has already clarified he was just walking around and tried to Drive Parry and the Super came out. It was definitely a misinput, but I'm personally baffled as to how the game registered a Super.
Running it back with the Skullgirls side event at Roundhouse this year, if you're going to Roundhouse then you should sign up to play some SG! ($5 entry) (side event link below)
