Within HOURS of starting a new Spider-Man playthrough I got this message because I disabled the internet connection AFTER I had started playing. I had a PHYSICAL copy of the PS4 game in my console, but because I paid $10 for the Remaster upgrade and that was digital, suddenly it’s a problem 🙃 There shouldn’t be a need for a toggle or setting to be enabled to prevent this. If it’s installed on the console, it should not require an internet connection. There is no consumer benefits to this. Internet is not required, it’s a forced requirement. Because they want control.

It saying that without the internet the console cannot confirm that I have the disc in the console while it LITERALLY shows the disc icon at the end of the Remaster title. It wouldn’t be able to run the remaster without the disc, right? So what’s the real excuse, @PlayStation?

And let’s not get started on the detachable disc drives for PS5 Slim and Pro requiring a “one-time” activation to even function..

@tatara_hisoka @arkeresia I am not sure Stranger Than Heaven can fix it imo. STH will be it's own thing unlike say the Judgement series was. People placing insanely cloudy expectations on this game is is gonna leave some people disappointed for misplaced expectations.

@ThanosPagkidis1 This is what happens when a game drops the ball so hard the way Kiwami 3 did lol. Not even Pirate Yakuza or Infinite Wealth killed discussion like K3 did. Stranger Than Heaven got the hard task to revitalize RGG and I think it still might not be what some people what lol.

@mrgamedude @re_halbio Yes. You spin the analogy stick so you can cancel that swing animation so you can immediately start up the next one with enough time to keep the enemy in hitstun. Very valuable in certain S Ranks.

@YWNBAW_0451 Jesus. Really puts into perspective how little variety in the genre's there where in the 7th generation. For every different genre there were 4-6 first person shooters lol. Thats one aspect I dont look back on fondly lol.
