400 yearling heifers weigh 7-850# sell Saturday September 12 at Fort Scott Livestock. Have been running on the grass since March. Been hand fed only, no TMR. Front pasture quality momma makers.

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

@cameron_korth They need to be somewhere besides western Missouri in the month of August otherwise idk if I'd let them go 😂

600 steers weighing 850-1050# and 120 heifers weighing 850#. Selling at Fort Scott Livestock market Saturday June 13. Been kicked out on grass all winter/spring and have only been on silage grower ration.

@cameron_korth @farm_smith I get to look over the truck and he gets to look over the two loads of feeders. We will see who did the most damage 😂

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

@cameron_korth @farm_smith I curbed a wheel on a bunk in a pasture the first day so that's already out of the way 😂

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

@cameron_korth @silagechopper Couldn't find a 6x6 589 😂. But realistically was afraid Peterbilt guys wouldn't have enough experiences with 6x6 vs Freightliner

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

#3 got bragging rights that he was the first kid to ride in the new feed truck

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

@cameron_korth @silagechopper Freightliner 108SD

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

@silagechopper Yes. 6x6 full lockers with a 2 speed x-fer case

Earlage gets some funny looks in West Central MO

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

Is the grain farmer selling shuttles full of "deer corn" the market equivalent of beef guys pushing "local locker beef"

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

@silagechopper $7 corn - "never going to be another bad day"
$3 feeder board- "boy this is gonna hurt"

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

First 2025 grazers kicked out while the board is limit down leaves a guy feeling conflicted. Maybe next week's will be a limit up day 😂

[Zeph Smith @ZephSmith55]

60°, a little breeze, and some sun. I'd say that is about the best nap you could ask for.
