people mad that VGen limits the invite codes to 2 ... idk man, if I was in charge, I'd get rid of the invite code system entirely, only applications with manual review. or invite codes are trackable and if you invite a scammer, u get fcked too.

Update regarding community safety on VGen

UNETHICAL BROKERS:
Happy to say we’ve identified many previously unconfirmed JRUhub brokers, affiliates, and other unethical group accounts and they have all been banned for misrepresenting the nature of their profiles and services, intentionally inviting bad actors, and ban evading.

Big thank you to everyone in our community who has helped to investigate, report on-site, and provide detailed proof that our team were then able to review and take action on. Thank you for helping us keep the community safe!

REMAINING BROKERS:
In the short term, broker discovery has been rebalanced, their withheld funds processed through VGen Payments may not be released until after a commission is complete, and all brokers will continue to not have any invite codes. If any broker accounts mistype themselves as an individual or studio, they will now be suspended for at least 1 month immediately upon discovery.

We are still evaluating whether additional long-term actions are required.

Please do not assume all brokers are bad. However, if you do see suspicious behaviour, please continue to report them on-site and we will investigate.

ARTIST INVITE CODES:
There is now a hard limit of 2 unused artist invite codes per Verified Artist at any given time. If you earn more through a challenge or special event drop and you already have 2 in your dashboard, you won’t receive any more.

ARTIST CODE GIVEAWAYS:
Effective Nov 1, 2026, general contests, raffles, or applications are no longer allowed, even if recipients are screened. This is due to the increasing sophistication of groups who fraudulently misrepresent themselves as individuals.

If you see someone hosting a raffle or are in violation of our Artist Code Policy in any way, please report them on-site with a screenshot or link to their violating post and we’ll investigate. Their first offence will result in a warning before more severe administrative actions may be taken for repeated offences, including losing verification status and suspensions.

@SheriffcaliVT i think a lot of artists don't know about the milestone/increments feature (especially adding another payment after the proposal) which is why they only offer that.🤔 Personally do so if the project is bigger, or even if a client asks i might consider seperating it more :')

If this was implemented, the bad actors would lower base price to $1 and have insane addons.

Then actual struggling artists would likely have to lower prices because they’re competing with studios and bad actors

Was considering the idea of getting old holland oil paints since i really like stiffer paints, and they are high quality. Looked at cadmium red--
yeah naaaaaaaah
almost $100 for a 40ml tube.
I wouldn't dare use it unless that painting were PERFECT and went to a museum PFF

I get why people ask why would larian take on dragon age when they have divinity. World wise, sure, but it could broaden their gameplay aspects! Divinity can stay isometric (i believe the new one is confirmed to be so??) + they'll have a actionRPG game too!!

This is so heartbreaking!
Been a dragon age fan all my life and idk, i feel so sad to never be able to experience the world of Thedas ever again. I'm hopeful that someone could pick up the ip again //coughLarian, but i guess thats very unlikely.

@MoonDeLunie With super shaky hands, i just gave up lineart. :') The stabilizer helps but even then it wasn't "right" to me at least.
