@julieheglund@PeacemakingSt Spring or winter break would be ideal. My home stake did quest instead of trek and the kids were able to stay in cabins. Much more manageable. My dad was the head of medical on treks and hated it, he was very pleased with quest.

Nothing makes me cringe harder than, "I'm going to start my talk today with some jokes". Having humor in your sacrament talk is fine, but having 2-3 non sequitor jokes before bringing in the subject matter is cringe and, imo, inappropriate.

@latterdaylaura Im a type 1 diabetic, my life has difficulties that others dont. If it became possible to detect propensity for T1 in the womb I have no doubt many people would end their children's lives because of it. Its sickening
If we should be able to abort a child because they might have a hard life due to Down Syndrome, where does it end?
What if we find a way to test for autism in utero? Abort?
