White/no shields just shouldn't exist. They make fights too brief and unfulfilling.
Green shields should be the baseline. Would make fights more interesting.
At the very least, getting green shields should be easier/less expensive than it is now.
First impressions after three days of the #MarathonServerSlam :
Look and feel is on point. Love the design.
I've heard precisely one (1) person use proximity voice chat (may as well not exist)
Every player encounter is a guaranteed fight. No reason to form a fragile alliance.
Gunplay feels good, which is to be expected.
Loot is currently pretty boring.
Objectives are not incredibly varied and get kind of rote fast.
Maps are gorgeous and fun to play in.
Needs more UESC encounters. A lot more.
No world bosses? Commander is too easy to be a boss.
@MarathonDevTeam As several have already stated, the beginner version of Perimeter is temporary before players move on to other maps and it cannot be accessed anymore. All this is doing is making it more likely that newer players will get frustrated and move on. They're still learning the game.
